Which would be a monstrous violation of federal law, and, all around general ethical rules in Washington. According to published reports, CNN may soon find itself with a new owner. Suspicious reports appeared online this week claiming that the network is on its way to be sold for the first time after a Department of Justice interference.
Interestingly, the White House denied the allegations before they even really hit the mainstream media.
The reports claim that the DOJ wants the network sold because it “is the network that the White House considers fake news”. Although, those behind CNN are apparently denying such on social media. Meanwhile, the same reports are additionally claiming that the DOJ is trying to block AT&T’s latest merger if it doesn’t beef up its alleged attempted sale of CNN.
