3 UCLA players accused of shoplifting, may be forced to spend months in China

HONG KONG —  The centralized government in China has ordered three American college ballers confined to their hotel after authorities in one of their less populated providences claimed they shoplifted.   According to Chinese police,  LiAngelo Ball, Cody Riley, and Jalen Hill  all stand accused of shoplifting Louis Vutton sunglasses from an upmarket boutique.

Claims that were never actually proven. But now, per local reports, as the legal process unfolds things could get murky for the young college trio.   Chinese law experts told the Washington Post that while the legal process unfolds “they could be forced to spend months in the country” ultimately missing this week’s deadline to go home with their team.
