8 people wounded in knife attack in Munich: Police

MUNICH, GERMANY — Trouble in Germany today as police have confirmed that a knife-wielding suspect is now behind bars after injuring 8 people in a bizarre knife attack. German police say that the man suddenly pulled out a knife on a large crowd just outside of Eastern Munich this morning around 8:30 am local time.

A total of 8 people including children were injured.   Police  aren’t releasing a motive yet, and, have not confirmed the identity of the suspect.   Police claimed in phone calls to The Daily News that there “was no immediate indication that this was terror-influenced”.  Meanwhile,    the suspect was already known to police as a troublemaker throughout much of Germany.
