Obama to speak out about the end of DACA

The end of DACA is believed to be here, and, people are not happy. An estimated 800,000 or more undocumented immigrants (who were brought to the United States as children and then were never able to actually go home) could be at risk for deportation.

Tuesday, marks what is believed to be the day of a press conference by Donald Trump.  In that press conference, it is expected that he will announce the end of the DACA program that has protected hundreds-of-thousands of immigrant children (mostly now adults) who have only ever known the United States as their home.

He (Obama)  is expected to speak out against Donald Trump today if and when the expected decision is announced.

The program first arrived in 2012 at the behest of then President Barack Obama.  But, a similar program had actually been born in 2001 but stalled in Congress for many years.   In 12′, Obama created the program as sort of a “protective shield” for those that have been in the U.S their entire lives. Meanwhile,   politicians and the like across both sides of the spectrum have voiced their concerns over the cancellation of the program.

“This is his most evil act yet”  tweeted Senator and former Presidential candidate Bernie Sanders, who, along with hundreds of other politicians and even a wide number of Republicans were outraged at the news.
