Justice Department denies Obama wiretapped Trump Tower

We’re going to guess much to the anger of Donald Trump himself. According to memos obtained by numerous outlets Friday night,  the Justice Department filed legal documents entirely shutting down Trump ‘s famous campaign claim.  During the election last year, Trump, claimed that Obama had “his wires tapped” to follow his moves during the election. A claim, that uh, is nothing more than that a deceitful claim made by Trump.

According to the documents filed by the Justice Department,  neither the Department nor the FBI could find evidence to indicate such ever happened.  This is the first time that the Justice Department has acknowledged that  James Comey was right in his assessment that it never did actually occur.  Meanwhile,  the Department itself wouldn’t directly comment on the discovery of the documents declining to comment all together.

“The FBI and Department of Justice have now sided with Comey and confirmed in writing that President Trump lied when he tweeted that former President Obama ‘wiretapped’ him at Trump Tower,” the Washington Examiner quotes the government transparency advocacy group as saying in a statement.
