A Territory Forgotten: Puerto Rico has been completely destroyed

SAN JUAN, PUERTO RICO — The government of Puerto Rico has pretty much declared, that, the Puerto Rican territory is pretty much history.  The regions northern most towns, per the governor, have been entirely isolated from San Juan.  Power is completely out; hospitals are reportedly at capacity,  and people are beginning to feel the effects of  Hurricane Maria.

Nursing homes are reportedly first on the primary concern list as officials haven’t been able to get to as many as they’d like due to weather conditions. Most areas of the region have no electricity, and, in a nursing home environment, that could potentially be a fatal scenario for hundreds of innocent lives.

Governor Ricardo Rossello has apparently sent numerous itemized lists to the US for items desperately needed by the region.  It is unknown at this time how much longer Puerto Rico can last on its generators.
