Recognize him? Meet notorious serial killer H.H. Holmes

He’s believed to be the first serial killer ever to walk the streets of America, and now, people may finally get the answer they’ve been waiting for: who killed H.H Holmes.  According to a former CIA analyst and the serial killer’s modern grand child, he, had actually been killed by the state in 1893 following the murder of his business partner.

Let’s dig a bit deeper.   In 1893,   H.H Holmes apparently built a “murder castle” i na large house just west of what would have been the Chicago Fair that year.  In that building, he,   had walls with sharp objects; alleged gas chambers in secret rooms,  and walls that had no exits in bizarre hallways.  This is a building that he had apparently used to commit more than 10 confirmed murders but is believed to be responsible for more than 200 murders.

This is where it gets interesting and serves as the focal point for a new 8-part History Channel docu-series.   In the series, entitled American Ripper,    Holmes’ modern relative Jeff takes on the case and even makes a darn good theory that most didn’t know before : H. H Holmes is Britain’s Jack The Ripper.

According to other news reports published over Labour Day weekend in the U.S,   Holmes’ body was finally dug up after a court approval in March.   A body in Pennsylvania  was dug up after concerns rose that the body buried in 1893 following H. H Holmes’ execution wasn’t actually Holmes.  But forensic scientists and officials say that after months of test and testing on particular dental records, Holmes, indeed is the body in the grave.

Jeff Mudgett, however, is still skeptical.   On 2 September, we, decided to nose dive into the exclusive History Channel series.   If and when Mudgett manages to discover that Holmes is actually Jack The Ripper,  Mudgett, would be lawfully required to report such to British authorities.
