Robert Mueller in possession of letter that could sink Donald Trump: Report

[contextly_auto_sidebar]

According to the The New York Times Robert Mueller, is now in possession of the original letter Donald Trump wanted to send James Comey just before he was formally fired. In the letter, per the Post, it doesn’t directly identify the Russian investigation — although — does directly take aim at Hillary Clinton.  Also in the letter,  The Times  notes that Trump specifically mentions Comey’s failure and refusal to publicly say that Trump is not under investigation himself.

The news comes as Mueller reportedly brought aboard the IRS’s criminal investigation division this week to apparently look into financial crimes at the hands of Manafort and the entire Trump Administration.  Er, perhaps, it must be noted that there has never been such an investigation of its kind — and — the IRS investigation unit has and can only be used when charges are on the horizon and scheduled to be brought.
