Zimbabwe’s First Lady Grace Mugabe accused of serious assault: Police

SOUTH AFRICA —  Zimbabwe’s First Lady Mugabe is in deep trouble. According to South African Police,  Madam Mugabe turned herself in this week after a local hotel-goer claimed that she was viciously assaulted with an extension cord.  Gabriella Engels, 20, claims that Grace Mugabe “violently assaulted her with an extension cord while her body guards sat and watched”.   South African police say that she claims this happened because Engels apparently had been entangled with the First Lady’s children.

Meanwhile,  Mugabe has turned herself in and “is not under arrest” according to police reports obtained by The Daily News.  The investigation into the case remains open, in other news,   photographs of the alleged attack have surfaced online.
