Donald Trump has bowed to criticism, and,  for good reason. The United States President took to the airwaves Monday morning to discuss the troubling attack on a protester who died in Charlottesville over the weekend. Initially, Trump, refused to acknowledge that protesters in Virginia were actually committing acts of terrorism — but rather “blamed all sides” rather than those responsible: white supremacists.

“Racism is evil and those who cause violence in its name are criminals and thugs,” he told reporters on Monday. “They’re repugnant” against everything that we as Americans believe in.

“We condemn this egregious display of hatred, bigotry and violence,” he said. “It has no place in America.”
