The White House just hosted Vietnam ‘s Prime Minister, here’s what we know

Wednesday marked a new turn for The White House: Vietnam.   U.S ‘s Donald Trump reportedly hosted the likes of Vietnam’s Prime Minister Nguyen Xuan Phuc in what has now been revealed to be a massive discussion over bilateral deals.

According to briefings we’ve received from yesterdays meeting, the two leaders and their teams discussed multiple forms of deals.   President Trump appears to have managed (at least per the briefings) to have scored at least 12 different deals totaling more than $8billion.

The deals range from equipment sold to Vietnam; bilateral agreements to allow Vietnam to enter the world of trade with America,  and,  we have learned that the TPP was discussed.   Nguyen Phuc reportedly feels that Trump ‘s pull back from the TPP was an “economic blow” to his country but he “hopes that the people of Vietnam and the United States can now enter a beautifully charged trade agreement benefiting both countries” per a statement released by his spokesperson to The Daily News.

Meanwhile, The White House declined to comment on the meetings although Trump quickly took to social media to confirm that he indeed actually had the meetings and that they were ‘hugely successful”.
