A white man who stabbed innocent people because they were Muslim is the topic of the week. Jeremy Christian, the Portland man who stabbed one person and fatally murdered two others, was in court Wednesday. During that court hearing, Christian, was heard reportedly telling the courtroom “You call it terrorism, I call it patriotism”.
According to local reports, two of the victims died hours after the attack. Christian has since been charged with double-murder charges; and those related to a hate crime charge. Another victim, Micah Fletcher, 21, was nearly fatally stabbed in the neck trying to defend the two young women.
Court docs show that Christian was heard during the attack telling himself that he wanted to “cut off their heads” because they were Muslim.
