Despite the troubling scandal surrounding his leaked e-mails, Macron, has managed to come out on top and is expected to become the next President of France. With more than 98% of the vote reportedly reporting in as of this point, Macron, managed to reportedly sweep more than 50% of the votes (by a landslide, actually).
According to polling results, as of this writing, Macron has managed to sweep more than 20m of the votes towards Presidency while Le Pen apparently remained at just shy of 10m.
This information as far as results have not been independently confirmed by sources outside of France.
Macron reportedly spent the final hours of his campaign with his wife, 64, who is now poised to become the First Lady of France.
