Following much discussion and criticism over the actions of its flight attendants aboard the overbooked flight (seen here) the airline is issuing full refunds. According to a spokesperson who confirmed the news, United, will begin issuing full refunds to every passenger who was aboard the plane “to show our apologies for the situation”.
Every passenger aboard Flight 3411 from Chicago O’ Hare to Kentucky last Sunday will be receiving notifications and refund communications from the airline in the “coming days and as we can get to each individual person”. Chicago aviation officials confirmed to The Daily News that two more airline police officers that aboard that flight have also been placed on administrative leave.
