So here’s where it gets interesting. During their joint conference earlier this month, Trump, had claimed that Merkel’s Germany “owes America and NATO” for apparent lack of full payments on Germany’s behalf.
The claims were later denied by Germany who reiterated that they “fully comply on their part in terms of NATO”. Now, it has emerged that Donald Trump, sent Merkel a $300billion invoice for those very same claims.
What’s happening next? White House officials reportedly denied the report of an invoice Sunday afternoon although German officials are standing by their claim.
