A young woman in America is in the headlines this weekend after it was revealed that her parents cut her off and refused to pay for her college, only, after learning that her boyfriend is African American. According to the Daily Mirror, Allie Dowdle alleges in her Go Fund Me Page that her father Bill kicked her to the side after seeing a photo of Allie and her black boyfriend Michael.
On her GoFundMe page : “About a year ago, I told my parents that I’d started dating a boy named Michael, pictured with me above.
“Hoping to share him with my family, I showed my parents his picture, and the conversation was over before it even began.
In response to the heartbreaking situation, Allie, reportedly raised $11,000 to help towards the studies her parents now refuse to pay for. Meanwhile, her racist parents have since backtracked on the situation claiming that they never said that.
As of this writing, she has reportedly raised upwards of $14,000.
