In a final push, Barack Obama has come forth putting an extensive roadblock in place that will make it awfully difficult for Donald Trump to further create any kind of Muslim registry. Obama per the White House announced that the Department of Homeland Security has effectively ceased its post 9/11 program that monitored Arabic and Muslim males over the age of 16.
The program was first started post Bush in America, as a program to help fight terrorism and extremism on western borders. The issue is that the program wrongfully targeted innocent people both a Muslim Americans and those from abroad. The Obama Administration reportedly felt that the program would have further enabled Trump’s reported Muslim registry.
The program was first titled the NSEERS program, most of which, has nw and been formally scrapped as of this writing.
