ATLANTA – It’s like Pandora’s box has been opened. Colleges across America are reportedly scrambling to find out where threatening text messages claiming that students of colour are going to die, perhaps, originated from.
There have been reports in Atlanta, Fort Lauderdale, Cleveland, Dallas, and Phoenix of similar text threads circulating on college campuses.
Campus police at the University of Oklahoma and the University of Pennsylvania have confirmed that numerous students received text threads of variating formats claiming that “Trump is love” “Lynch the nigg***”. The text messages went as far as to claim that there is a reported daily lynching calendar present somewhere.
Campus police and school officials are monitoring the situations, but, have been unable to locate the alleged calendar.
