TORONTO — Possibly in the not so bright category, Justin Trudeau found himself in the midst of angry crosshairs Saturday night after his office released a formal statement regarding the death of Cuban dictator Fidel Castro.

Castro, 90, died Friday after decades of rule over Cuba. Many countries; people, and even world leaders have celebrated his death — except for the Trudeau’s. Canada’s first family actually has quite the ties to the deceased Cuban leader, who, had made an appearance at the 2000′ funeral of PM Trudeau’s father.

While a controversial figure, both Mr Castro’s supporters and detractors recognized his tremendous dedication and love for the Cuban people who had a deep and lasting affection for “el Comandante'”.

Human rights groups are pouncing on the statement due to the fact that no where does it actually mention Fidel’s massive violation of human rights; abuse of power as Cuba’s leader, among other things.

Social media users quickly took to Twitter to berate Justin over his comments writing their own amusing eulogies to Hitler and even Darth Vader.
