TACOMA — After much effort by The Daily News to successfully warrant the definition of criminal next to Julie Schmidt’s name, a Superior Court judge has ruled in our favour.

A Superior Court Judge heard The Daily News & (Name Withheld) v Julie Schmidt ultimately declaring that after years of falsified internet postings claiming that our editor has HIV; posting fabricated Facebook statuses,  and the ongoing harassment attempting to bully SHK into communication — she is to be declared a criminal in the eyes of the state.

The Daily News has been instructed to file appropriate police reports; a pending restraining order,  and then formally a warrant may be issued for her arrest if the internet postings don’t stop.

The ruling was handed down in absentia to protect the identity of the editor involved.
