GOOD NEWS for those that like Cuban cigars. According to The White House, American president Barack Obama reportedly lifted restrictions on items that US travelers can bring back from Cuba.

Among those: Cuban cigars and rum.

Cigars and such usually run more than $100 in Cuba, which meant that people couldn’t leave the country with them. Now, Obama hopes that removing the sanctions will better build relationships between the two countries.

Challenges remain—and very real differences between our governments persist on issues of democracy and human rights—but I believe that engagement is the best way to address those differences and make progress on behalf of our interests and values,” President Obama said in a statement
