It was a case suited for a bad episode of Forensic Files, except, this was all too real. Jessica Wongsu, will now reportedly spend the next 20 years of her life in prison for the murder of her friend Mirna. Prosecutors say that Wongsu was reportedly deeply jealous of her friend, so much so, that she willfully and heinously poisoned her coffee earlier this year with cyanide.
It gets even more interesting considering that Wongsu reportedly told former colleagues and bosses that she had “knew the right dose” to kill someone. Wongsu maintains that she’s innocent and will reportedly appeal the conviction to the high court.
The case has largely become a much followed topic in and around Indonesia, although. Wongsu was actually in Australia at the time of the murder.
