MADRID – If there’s one thing most don’t realize about Google, er, it’s that you can actually get bills from Google that are very real. According to reports, one Spanish family in Spain discovered just that after their 12-year-old son Jose logged on to the internet hoping to make a few bucks for his band.
The problem, perhaps, is that he accidentally used Ad Words rather than Ad Sense – Words doing the exact opposite of Sense. In return, while Jose thought he was reaping the benefits he actually racked up more than $100,000 in Adwords bills.
Fortunately for Jose’x family, Google confirmed that they won’t actually have to pay of the monies back to the search engine.
