imageAnd as a phone that hilariously advertised “The device will bring new experiences on the go” this whole brouhaha over Samsung’s latest device blowing up is all the more funnier.  A flight from Norfolk to Atlanta this week apparently met its maker,er, after a secondary battery for what has been reported as a Samsung phone blew up in Row 34.

Since the release of Samsung’s hotly anticipated phone, the South Korean company had hoped that the new phone would become its latest hit in a mRket largely dominated by Apple and its IOS devices.

Delta officials confirmed the news to The Daily News but would not confirm what kind of battery it was. Witnesses confirmed that the phone indeed belonged to a Samsung phone user.
