The situation was later made into what would become an iconic film, meant, to tell an even bigger story about corruption and financial greed.

Now, Brockovich is back in the news amid reports from Environmental officials in America that in nearly every U.S state deadly levels of chromium-6 have been found in tap faucets and water ways (yes, the water you’re drinking right now reading this). Chromium-6 can cause cancer and numerous other deadly diseases. Between 2013 and 2015, some 60,000 water samples were collected in various U.S states. Of those 60,000 samples almost 75% of them contained lethal levels of Chromium-6.

A photograph from Environmental officials below shows which cities have been discovered as of this writing to contain lethal cancerous causing levels of Chromium-6 in their drinking water.
