charlotteCHARLOTTE, NORTH CAROLINA — Yet another American city has emerged in deadly protests after police in Charlotte reportedly gunned down not one but two more African American men in the city, Tuesday evening saw protests erupt in the city after it emerged that police attempted to justify the murder of Keith Lamont Scott, 43, who died at the hands of police while reading a book in his car.

Scott, 43, was reportedly waiting for his son to get off of a school bus in his vehicle and decided to read his book.  Scott, had emerged from the vehicle once, and then returned to his car. Police claim that Scott emerged with a gun rather than a book, but, evidence and witness accounts suggest that Scott actually had a book in his hands.   Police officials claimed that Scott “posed an imminent threat” to the officers at hand, and therefore, “our officers exercised their authority in firing their weapons”.

Police sources say that police were looking for a specific individual, which was not Scott, but instead decided to slaughter Scott in his car.  They had appeared at the apartment complex in question in search of the other individual, but, that apparently became second nature to shooting two more Black men for absolutely no reason.
