TRUMP1Indicating that a Trump presidency would result in a much larger scope of a police state in an already troubled America. At a town hall meeting with Fox News host Sean Hannity,  Republican nominee Donald Trump decidedly took to the podium to discuss his views on the controversial policy that is now largely seen as illegal and discriminative.

Let’s catch up. In New York City, where, for the most part, the policy first took place — it is now largely no longer used.  Stop & Frisk was deemed discriminative after an abnormal number of minorities in America reported being “targeted” for no apparent reason by authorities. NYC alone saw dozens of cases a month, especially, among black shoppers.

The policy quickly moved on to troubled cities like Chicago, whereas, it is still currently used — and according to Donald Trump — for good reason.

‘I would do stop-and-frisk. I think you have to. We did it in New York, it worked incredibly well,’ in comments reported by NBC.

He continued: ‘You have to be proactive, and you know you really help people sort of change their mind, automatically, you understand, you have to, in my opinion.’

‘I see what’s going on here, I see what’s going on in Chicago. I think stop-and-frisk –in New York City it was so incredible, the way it worked.
