As school restarts in America, Obama’s trans directive blocked

NEW YORK — As America once more starts school, Obama’s trans-bathroom directive has been temporarily killed. Accordin to a rulin by a federal official in Texas, a nationwide block has been placed on Obama’s trans bathroom directive until further notice while it is determined the safety of the directive and how it will ultimately play out in schools across America.

“This case presents the difficult issue of balancing the protection of students’ rights and that of personal privacy when using school bathrooms, locker rooms, showers, and other intimate facilities, while ensuring that no student is unnecessarily marginalized while attending school,” O’Connor declared. “The resolution of this difficult policy issue is not, however, the subject of this order.”
