One of the most famous mansions in history, has, been sold. According to reports, Hugh Hefner’s historic Playboy Mansion was sold this week for $100m, not quite the asking price, but still rather substantial. The Hollywood Reporter reports that the mansion was bought by Hefner’s own neighbor, who, has agreed to let Hefner live out the rest of his life in the mansion.
Playboy Enterprises will reportedly shell out $1m a year to Mr. Metropolis for upkeep and residential purposes.
