U.S Justice Department opens investigation into #AltonSterling

BATON ROUGE —  The U.S Department of Justice has apparently joined the investigation into the death of Alton Sterling, an African American man in Louisiana, that was fatally shot by police over selling CD’s in Baton Rouge.  Police (see here) have since argued that their actions were justified, despite, the fact that footage captured during his murder shows that Alton posed no threat and wielded no gun during the final moments of his life.
