Kim Kardashian ‘s Taylor Swift-Kanye West Snapchat brouhaha explained

SWIFT19Today’s biggest story in Hollyweird, stars Kim Kardashian-West; Taylor Swift, and Kanye West.  Except this time,  the story has now turned as to whether or not Taylor Swift will admit that she is a cold-blooded pop star with a penchant for lying.

Early this morning, Kim Kardashian released what has now probably become one of the most watched Snapchat videos of all-time. In the video,  Kardashian and hubby Kanye West are heard on the phone with Taylor Swift in pretty cordial voices discussing the now infamous “Famous” song whereas West referenced Swift as a “bitch”. The same song, and the same conversation, that Swift claims, er, she had no knowledge of.

The video, per Vox, lends much credibility to the longtime rumor that Swift happens to be a vengeful celebrity who will drag another through the mud, and, loves to play the victim.

“While I wanted to be supportive of Kanye on the phone call, you cannot ‘approve’ of a song you haven’t heard,” Swift wrote on Instagram on Sunday. “Being falsely painted as a liar when I was never given the full story or played any part of the song is character assassination.”

Kim’s GQ interview earlier this month was even more of an indicator that they’d been telling the truth all along.

“She totally approved that,” Kim says, shaking her head in annoyance. “She totally knew that that was coming out. She wanted to all of a sudden act like she didn’t. I swear, my husband gets so much shit for things [when] he really was doing proper protocol and even called to get it approved.” Kim is on a roll now, speaking faster and more animatedly than at any other point during our time together. “What rapper would call a girl that he was rapping a line about to get approval?”

The interesting part of Swift’s fabricated story, perhaps, is that not only was she recorded being nice and cordial — in fact — she said this.

“You guys wanna call this a feud, you wanna call this throwing shade,” she imagines herself saying to reporters and fans. “But right after the song comes out I’m gonna be on a Grammy red carpet and they’re gonna ask me about it and I’m gonna be like, he called me.”
