SAN FRANCISCO — According to a bizarre online warning issued via Craigslist, perhaps, San Francisco has every reason to be terrified. Per the now-deleted post, the author threatened that “We need another Orlando” (sic) “Orlando was long overdue”). Essentially, the post reportedly warned that San Francisco would be next “on a long list of sins”.
“Orlando was long overdue. Cleanse your community of the filth that gives decent gay men and women a bad name,” the ad continued. “Those people were walking diseases, bug chasers, and thank god for AIDS and 9-11 and now Orlando. San Diego you are next…”
The threat was first picked up [here] who spoke to FBI officers that confirmed they’re tracking the source of the ad, and, all appropriate and “legal” manners will be taken to prevent another attack.
