ORLANDO — Last night, Pulse Nightclub, found itself becoming one of t he most famous nightclubs in the world — for all the wrong reasons. Around 2am last night, the popular Orlando hotspot (which is gay friendly) was massacred by an ISIL (or ISIS) terrorist who later claimed allegiance following the murder of 50 people.
The shooter, per reports and U.S officials has been identified as US citizen Omar Mateen. Mateen, was shot dead by Orlando police and SWAT teams just an hour after the attack. The death toll at this time sits at 53, with dozens still in critical condition. The owner of Pulse Nightclub, is confirmed to be alive.
The gunman was reportedly a resident of Port St. Lucie, Florida whereas it has been revealed that he has Afghanistan roots from his parents
