LONDON —  In the upcoming Harry Potter play,  a casting switch up has people talking. According to The Huffington Post, an upcoming casting in Harry Potter And The Cursed Child has outraged Potter fans (and white people, everywhere).

People are furious that the newly minted Hermoine Granger, is, indeed now black.  Rowling, made the casting announcement in December but only recently has the brouhaha boiled over.

“With my experience of social media, I thought that idiots were going to idiot,” Rowling said. “But what can you say? That’s the way the world is. Noma was chosen because she was the best actress for the job.”
