LOS ANGELES — A California doctor (as previously reported in The Daily News) is now under federal investigation as we reported late last month. The doctor, whom, we cannot identify as of this writing — is along with his son under federal investigation after it has emerged that his child bought drugs for Prince.
NOTE: During the publication of this story, editors, were granted permission to name the doctor and his son involved in the investigation of Prince’s death.
Investigators confirmed that Dr. Howard Kornfeld and son Andrew Kornfeld have been named in the investigation as it is believed that Andrew was on an overnight flight on 20 April with a buprenorphine drug. Kornfeld claims he did not administer the drug.
