SOURCES tell the Daily News that genre defying music legend, perhaps collectively best known for his sexually provocative lyrics and music (and that decade legendary Purple Rain stint) has AIDS. Sources say that Prince contracted the blood-borne illness in the 1990’s due to his “sexual past”.
Prince has never openly discussed his health in the past, something, that has left many rumors surfacing about the music icon in the past. Sources went on to later reveal that Prince has “problems” health wise, and, had stopped treatment in 2001 after becoming a devout Jehovah’s Witness.
The same source goes on to say that the Purple Rain legend is “indefinitely losing his life” and “will not last beyond this summer”.
“He’s really sick, but, has managed to make it this far. He’s a strong person and a strong fighter, but, he knows his time is coming to an end” sources concluded on 2 April 2016.
Prince’s rep declined to comment on the story when contacted by The Daily News on 4 April 2016.
