How a top U.S Navy Officer Committed Treason

WASHINGTON — Bad news for the United States Navy, even, worse news for one Navy officer accused of committing the worst crime one could commit: Treason. According to information obtained by The Daily News,  Lt. Edward Lin who was originally born in Taiwan, but, naturalized as a U.S citizen in 2008.

This is where it gets interesting.   Through people close to the United States Navy and information obtained by The Daily News, Lin,  is accused of “providing ample secrets both military and non military to the Chinese government” through means of his Chinese girlfriend.

Lin’s Navy unit reportedly works closely with P-8A Poseidon, the P-3C Orion, and the MQ-4C Triton.  He, per  confidential information obtained by The Daily News — has been held for eight months since last summer. It is not yet known whether or not the U.S government has enough evidence against Lin to court martial him.

Additional information obtained by The  Daily News confirmed that officials are also seeking an adultery charge against the Navy Lt.   Information deemed credible revealed that Lin had apparently visited a prostitute while on duty with the Navy, which, is considered a federal crime under military law.
