According to the police documents,  the singer's Paisley Park estate was the subject of 47 police visits/calls over the past 5 years and 3 as of the last 9 months. The previous three phone calls to police were "similar to the investigation currently underway" per the documents themselves.   The second set of documents leaked to the Daily News confirmed that Prince died just 20 minutes after ambulancemen arrived at his $10m estate at 9:50 am the day he died. In a very bare medical incident report,    ambulancemen noted that they had discovered Prince in his elevator "unconscious" but no details in that particular report were made public. &n...

How Priceline lost its CEO: An Affair with an Employee

In perhaps one of the not-so-exclusive clubs currently floating around corporate America, Priceline's  Darren Huston is out of a job this week after it emerged he had been having  a secret affair with an employee. Bernie Sanders: I’m Laying Off Campaign Staff

IT appears that Bernie Sanders is nearing the largely expected end of his bid for United States president. According to reports, Sander's has begun laying off about 200 staffers as of  Tuesday night's loss to Hillary Clinton.  Sander's campaign says that "this is a natural progression of any campaign" and Sander's will begin focusing on better progressive platforms for Democrats and issues and "will fight to the very end".   His new focus? Reports say that Sander's plans to shift his focus to California, whereas,  a big political face off is expected between all the candidates.   (.. SHK: I’m a twice removed victim of rape

Since the dawn-of--time, and, pretty much since I started doing this website in 2003, I've kept much of my personal view(s) and perspectives on life better guarded than the Bank of England. Now, at 21, some of those perspectives are coming to light after recent admissions from others online that they knew some of those secrets and were prepared to tell the world whether I liked it or not.   In 2003, I met the only man who wasn't my own color. His name was Taylor Wallis, and to this day,  I have only ever been entangled with one other gentlemen who wasn't my skin color.  Both gentlemen gave me many memories, and often, many good ones.  But beyond those two gentlemen, I, have consistently and always veered from becoming entangled with someone similar to who they are: white men. ...

How Beyonce’s #Lemonade furthered a conversation about being Black

Mohammed SHK is the founder of The Daily News, and its Editor & Chief.      Beyonce's Lemonade is a hot discussion, and, whether you're a fan or not -- it's hard to deny that  Beyonce's latest history-defying visual album was nonetheless an intriguing one.    As an African-American woman, Beyonce's longstanding regionalism among southern traditions and nationalism is pure; obvious, and present even after all these years Beyonce has been present in the music world.   While, I am no Beyonce fan (minus maybe two songs),  Beyonce's Lemonade album is indefinitely something Black people can and should use as a definitive stepping stool (better yet, a learning tool) to understand what it means to be a person of colour in power; in marriage, and in life.  In the album, Beyo...

The Uptown Agency cancels anniversary party at @TGIFridays

The Uptown Agency is saddened to announce that we have until further notice we have cancelled the anticipated pre anniversary dinner America voted for to be held at TGI Fridays -- a popular American eatery that was chosen for the public to be able to party and drink with SHK. We intend to find another venue for the anticipated event expected to draw hundreds. The 13th anniversary party will be the first time the public has been granted permission to come within conversation distance of SHK. TGI Fridays refused SHK service because of an unusual claim that his ID is invalid because it doesn't point a certain direction  although he is over the legal age  of 21 and has publicly consumed alcohol at both normal restaurants and five star restaurants with the same ID.  WE will...

Nick Gordon speaks for the first time on the death of Bobbi Kristina Brown

In his first rare interview since the death of would-be-wife Bobbi Kristina Brown,  Nick Gordon, has spoken of the final hours in which he saw Brown alive.  Brown, was famously found upside down in a bath tub shockingly similar to the way her legendary mother passed away. In an interview with the Mail Online, Gordon, went into serious detail about the final hours of the heiress's life. 'I blame myself for not getting to Krissy quick enough that day. 'I can't blame myself for another addict's addiction but I feel like I failed her. She didn't make it. I wish she got help. 'I wish she got my spot [in rehab]. I did not protect her the way that I was supposed to – even if it was from herself.' Gordon had notoriously entered rehab last year following a staged intervention by Dr. Phil M...

Reports: Rachel Roy orchestrated that whole Beyonce thing

I TOTALLY saw this one coming. According to reports and even sources that spoke to THE DAILY NEWS, I,  can report that it now largely appears that Rachel Roy purposely indicated herself as "Becky with the Good Hair"  in that now infamous Instagram post to "boost sales for her struggling clothing line" and that book that was released in March. Roy first made headlines around the world after she suggested in an Instagram post that she was the mistress mentioned in Beyonce 's Lemonade song. The song, suggests that Jay-Z suffered an infidelity while married to the pop icon. Sources claimed to MULTIPLE websites that Roy was "in it for the attention because she is struggling to hang on to her fame".   This, er,  probably is the reason she constantly surrounds herself with celebrity friends...
