Radioactive material found in New York City’s water: Reports

MANHATTAN – According to the office of Gov. Andrew Cuomo, New York officials have reportedly discovered a problem. Officials say that an energy plant forty miles north of Manhattan, has tested positive for tritium, a radioactive material that has been found in the city’s water. 

Officials claim that there is no harm to the public. A similar discovery was reportedly made in 2014.
