kesha1NEW YORK — Yesterday in a Manhattan court room, pop-star Kesha was in tears after a judge ruled that she was not able to remove herself from her contract with Dr. Luke and Sony Music in which she must produce six more albums.   Per the judges ruling,  Kesha must remain under contract with both parties for the remainder of her six-album contract, before, she can lawfully move on to record with other producers.

In the same ruling, Justice Shirley Kornreich ruled that Kesha didn’t quite have enough evidence to pony up a significant case against Dr. Luke, some of which, she claims  raped her and sexually assaulted her over the course of a decade while working together.  Kornreich ruled that Sony and Dr. Luke would suffer inseparable harm if she was let out of her contract.
