Queen no longer owns any corgis

For the first time since 1944.  At the age of 18,  a then Princess Elizabeth, was gifted one of the cutest corgis — but then she would go on to breed more than 40 or so over the course of her reign over the United Kingdom.   Now,  according to Buckingham Palace (while they aren’t directly commenting on it)  a confirmation was given that the final corgi of the Queen’s was put down.

The Telegraph reports that Willow, 15, was the last of her actual corgis that had died and been put down due to complications from cancer.   The Queen and her dogs are perhaps most remembered for their  appearance at the London Olympics in that now hilarious skit with James Bond.
