Viola Davis joins list of female celebs demanding better pay

Especially when you’ve got the Triple Crown, and,  several other iconic awards that only the best of the best have. At a Salon event in Los Angeles, Davis, spoke about often “having to hustle for her worth” feeling like “I was never being paid enough” compared to others including male co-stars.

“I have a career that’s probably comparable to Meryl Streep, Julianne Moore, Sigourney Weaver,” saying that the other women have had similar training and education. “They had the same path as me, and yet I am nowhere near them,” she said. “Not as far as money.”
