America’s National Rifle Association is now without a branded credit card of any sorts (well multiple, at that). According to First National Bank, the sponsoring bank, officials have decided not to renew their contract with the NRA amid growing calls for the bank to sever their ties with the group all together.
In calls to the bank, officials declined to reveal and or confirm when it does indeed expire but did confirm effective immediately no renewals would take place. Meanwhile, the NRA is directing phone calls to a line that has yet to actually return anybody’s phone calls.
The move comes as Trump himself, perhaps, is making his own moves on apparent gun control. On Monday, Trump announced that he has ordered the DOJ to review a potential indefinite ban on bump stocks.
