Elephant poachers are at it again in Cameroon

For the love of the animals, and the elephants, poachers are once again it their nuttiest killing these innocent lovely animals. In Garoua, over the weekend,  at least nine elephants (of varying types)  were killed in a massive poaching session inside the local  national wildlife park.  Poachers reportedly left (as you see above,  some of them dead and decomposing without their tusks).

Cameroonian officials confirmed to The Daily News that  a ranger and two members of his staff were killed during the poachers invasion, due, to conflict with the poachers.  Officials also confirmed that the government has once again  revved up its protection of the beautiful animals, to, prevent something similar to that in which happened in 2012.

We’ll have more on this later this week as the Cameroonian government moves to block access to the park by poachers.
