And it is making for quite an amusing time for local police. Officers took to Twitter to complain that calling emergency services over the apparent shortages (which are now also over) is against the law and not a public emergency. The shortages kicked off last week after delivery errors with a supplier made for a hairy situation with KFC, who, acknowledged the problem publicly.
The issue has caused quite the headache for KFC, because, people apparently really love their chicken. Turns out, at least 700 or store of their stores are now open up from about 300. The shortages haven’t and hopefully won’t hit America.
KFC decidedly avoided comment when contacted by The Daily News about the shortages that made their weekend rather interesting.
