Donald Trump: Allegations ruin people’s lives

In an obvious reference to the #MeToo movement,  Donald Trump has come out swinging against those  who make “accusations that ruin people’s lives.   Their lives are over, there’s no career left”.     Those references, ehum, were in part to Rob Porter and his colleague who were booted from the White House –after images surfaced of their battered wives.

“Peoples lives are being shattered and destroyed by a mere allegation,” Trump wrote, per the AP. “Some are true and some are false. Some are old and some are new. There is no recovery for someone falsely accused – life and career are gone. Is there no such thing any longer as Due Process?”

As multiple other outlets point out, Trump, apparently isn’t pleased with John Kelly these days (partially over the fall out from the domestic violence allegations..).
