Despite its unusually juicy details, the $750m lawsuit filed against CBS by the brother of Jon Benet Ramsey  is set to advance come Monday. According to reports,    a circuit judge presiding over the case has decided not to dismiss it after it was determined that it at least in one way holds credence.

The suit, filed in Dec 2016, originally alleged that The Case Of: Jon Benet Ramsey   claimed that Ramsey’s brother Burke, ehum, killed her two decades ago after she “stole a piece of pineapple from him”.  Ramsey’s lawyers argue that the claim was “deeply false” and entirely “ruined his reputation”.

CBS, meanwhile, argued in a Michigan courtroom this week that the case should be dismissed — because —  that particular claim was never incinuated or entirely made.  Despite the attempt by CBS,   court records show, that the case will proceed as planned.
