LOS ANGELES — Sad news in the world of publishing today, the Graham Family (think those behind the Washington Post) lost another one of their own over the Christmas holiday. According to the Los Angeles Times, the son of legendary WaPo publisher Katherine Graham, William Graham, took his own life on 20 December 2017.
The Washington Post, to no surprise, was the first to report the news. The paper eloquently tracked his time as a lawyer in the 70’s up to his move to Los Angeles. A city, where, he would spend the next several decades while he taught at his alma-mater UCLA.
Per CNN, and his brother Donald, William suffered heart problems and severe depression in the final years of his life — presumably due to the celebrity surrounding his legendary family.
