They went on an adventure to Mexico, and then, tragedy hit

QUINTANA ROO, MEXICO —   Sad news in Mexico today, as authorities in the state of Quintana Roo have confirmed that a bus crash has killed more than a dozen travelers.   Police say that  the travelers apparently came from two Miami based cruise ships that were venturing through the territory,  whilst, the actual cause of the crash itself remains unknown.

Mexican officials also confirmed that 11 people including a Mexican tour guide (it is believed at least two of the injured/killed were/are American) are among those in the middle of the accident.    The Daily News discovered that the group was en-route (like several other buses) to the Mayan Ruins about 110 miles from the area the first bus crashed, although, police wouldn’t say whether or not they knew what happened to the bus.

At least one child was among those killed. According to Royal Caribbean Cruises,  the passengers reportedly came from: Celebrity Equinox and Serenade of the Seas.
