Shocking new stream of rape allegations surface against Russell Simmons

Russell Simmons, the now deposed co-founder of Def Jam Records has once again found himself in the midst of some pretty serious allegations. According to reports (see here) five more women have come forward with almost near identical claims, that, Simmons raped them at one point or another.

Drew Dixon – A former Def Jam Recording executive in 1995.

At the time, Dixon claims to the New York Times that she faced “grueling and aggressive” harassment at the hands of Russell.   That harassment, allegedly, later led to her rape (and her resignation from the company).

Tina Baker –   Early 90 ‘s

Singer Tina Baker claimed in the same profile to the New York Times that he raped her in the early 90 ‘s while promising her big moves in her music career. According to The Times,  it also similarly happened to Baker as it did Dixon in an aggressive and unfriendly manner.

Christina Moore –  Looking for a bar in a hotel in 2014.

In a profile also for the New York Times, Moore says that she and a friend were looking for a hip bar in a hotel that year.  At the time, she says they ran into Simmons in the lobby — where instead of after offering to show them the bar he led them to his room.
